Sorry I am a little late posting this but Cameron is still doing good. :)

TRAINING REPORT

Accepts harness: willingly puts on and wears harness	+
Forward: surges forward on command w/out encouragement	+
Straight line concept: walks in straight line avoiding obstacles	+
Left: makes 90 degree turn to left on command	+
Right: makes 90 degree turn to right on command	+
Down curbs: dog stops at curb or end of wheelchair before leaving sidewalk and crossing the street	+
Up curbs: dog stops at the curb or beginning of wheelchair ramp before stepping out of street and onto the sidewalk	+
Clearances: dog moves handler around objects on the handler’s right side	+
Traffic: how the dog reacts and works in traffic	+
Indoor mall	+
Off curb Travel: travel on roads that do not have sidewalks	+

Underfootings: willingness of the dog to walk over unusual surfaces	+

COMMENTS: Cameron has always been a pleasure to work. He is precise when it comes to curbs and obstacles. Cameron has wonderful obedience out-of-harness and easy to control. He's always ready to put his harness on and begin working. Cameron enjoys playing with roommates out in the field when he's finished working for the day.

Post after this one is Cameron having a snuggle with a buddy named Dutch. Cameron has always liked to use other dogs as a pillow. He looks so sweet and peaceful. Miss him!

Training Report 4-4-11

Cameron is doing well with his training! That boy just keeps making me proud as he moves right along in his training. I am hoping and praying that he can work over this dog distraction. I just need to keep reminding myself that he will do it in his own time. :) He is doing a wonderful job and I am so happy that I helped him get where he is today!

COMMENTS: Cameron is progressing well in his training. He loves to go out to work.( as long as he has the proper amount of stretching time before the route) He is a pleasure to work with.

I got Cameron's new training report today. He is doing well. Still a dog distraction going on that hopefully he will be able to overcome. We shall see in time...

Cameron on Twitter Again!!

I just saw that my boy Cameron is on Twitter again! Woohoo! He is working a mall route today and he looks great! Thanks to the trainer who posted his picture up there for us all to see.




Isn't he a handsome boy?! He is making me so proud! He is advancing nicely in his training. How lucky have I been to be his raiser?
